The Series runs August through November 2020 and features seven 54-hole stroke-play tournaments throughout the Southeastern U.S. with a season ending 72-hole event to take place near Atlanta at TPC Sugarloaf. The set of tournaments was designed for members from the PGA TOUR Latinoamérica, Mackenzie Tour – PGA TOUR Canada and PGA TOUR Series-China.

Each field in the LOCALiQ Series will be filled with 144 players and a 36-hole cut to the top 55 and ties. A minimum of $100,000 purses will be awarded with a winner’s share of $16,000.

Finding the Fairway – A Journey Through the LOCALiQ Series

Finding the Fairway celebrates the spirit of the LOCALiQ Series by following three players on the greens and behind-the-scenes as they share the highs and lows of their journeys throughout the series. This 6-part documentary-style series provides true insight into the lives of these players, from their usual life of Monday Qualifiers, road trips between events, sleeping in hostels and exotic locations, preparation before tournaments, and the pressure on the course. Experience the close calls of defeat and the celebration of victory as we follow these players on their insightful and often humorous journeys to the finals.

Tomás “Tommy” Cocha is an Argentine professional golfer who currently plays on PGA TOUR Latinoamérica, having previously played on the Korn Ferry Tour and the Tour de las Américas. Cocha won the silver (men’s individual) and bronze medal (mixed team) at the 2015 Pan American Games in Toronto, Canada. He finished in 15th place in the 2019 PGA TOUR Latinoamérica Order of Merit, giving him playing privileges in the 2020 LOCALiQ Series.

Isaiah Salinda grew up in southern San Francisco, California, and was a standout collegiate player at Stanford University. During his senior year at Stanford, he helped his team win the 2019 NCAA Championship and finished in 6th place as an individual. In 2018 Isaiah was a Semifinalist at the U.S. Amateur in an event where he was his sectional medalist. Isaiah won one of three hosted 2020 Mackenzie Tour qualifying schools to earn his 2020 Mackenzie TOUR card giving him playing privileges in the 2020 LOCALiQ Series.

After a strong college career at Oklahoma State University, Brad Gehl has been an international tour journeyman consistently competing on PGA TOUR Latinoamérica, Mackenzie TOUR and PGA TOUR Series-China. In 2019 Gehl played in 13 PGA TOUR Series-China events during his first season on that circuit. He has recorded five top-10’s among his nine made cuts. Brad closed the year 15th on the Order of Merit to easily retain his 2020 playing privileges and secure playing privileges in the 2020 LOCALiQ Series.
